Subject:
Annual UT-AAUP Sick Leave Bank Enrollment
It is time again for the annual enrollment for the UT-AAUP Sick Leave
Bank (SLB). The committee strongly suggests that you make sure that
your family members are aware of this benefit in case your family
might need to make a request on your behalf.
To participate in the SLB, you must complete the enrollment form and
have enough accrued sick leave at the time of donation. Payroll will
deduct your donated hours from your accrued sick leave balance.
A period of 30 days must pass after your donation before you can
withdraw from the bank.
In order to receive hours from the SLB you must contribute at
least 8 hours. Once you have donated at least 8 hours you
are a member of the SLB. You will not be required to donate
additional hours as long as the bank can meet its obligations (refer to your unit’s CBA).
We hope to receive your sick leave application by Monday, June 1,
2010. You may use fax, if this is more convenient for you (ext.
7271).
