The Board of Trustees for the University of Toledo (hereinafter Employer) and the University of Toledo Chapter of the American Association of University Professors agree to this Memorandum of Understanding in light of the passage of the amendment to the Ohio Constitution defining marriage.
During the term of the parties 2004-2007 Collective Bargaining Agreement, the Employer agrees to a re-opener to discuss offering Domestic Partner benefits if it is determined the University may lawfully do so by the State of Ohio or finally determined it may do so by a state or federal court of competent jurisdiction.
