Memorandum of Understanding

1. The University of Toledo Chapter of the American Association of University Professors (UT-AAUP) and the University of Toledo Board of Trustees mutually agree to the following: for the term of the parties 2004 through 2007 agreement.

2. The parties agree to address distance learning workload for summer sessions during the term of this agreement as follows:

a) All summer distance learning offerings taught by members of the Lecturer Bargaining Unit shall be mutually agreed to by the member, the Chair and The Dean.

b) The member, the Chair and the Dean shall work together to decide whether the course will be taught in or out of load; in cases where there is disagreement, the dean shall make the final determination.
