Grievance
Committee "A"Academic Freedom and Grievances
Welcome to the Committee "A" section of our UT-AAUP Home Page. If you are considering filing a grievance and are wondering how to begin, please give Mary Jane Erard, UT-AAUP Executive Director, a call at 530-7270 to make an appointment to talk. It might be a good idea to invite your "Departmental Rep" to join us, but I'll leave that up to you. After our conversation, you may decide not to file a grievance and to pursue another course of action. Or, you may decide to proceed with a grievance. If that is your decision, the UT-AAUP will stand with you. We are here to help -- First, please fill out the UT-AAUP Grievance Inquiry Form and then contact our office at 7270 or at ut-aaup@mindspring.com.
